A calming evening to release your neck & settle your mind
Wednesday, March 25 · 6:00–7:30 PM · Rooted Pilates, Costa Mesa
If your body has been asking you to slow down, this is your space.
Why we created this
Most people are carrying more tension than they realize.
It builds quietly from long days and constant responsibility.
This evening is designed to interrupt that cycle with support, guidance, and a pace that allows your body to soften.
What the evening will look like
GENTLE MOVEMENT WITH BANDS to help your body feel supported and aware.
GUIDED GUA SHA FACIAL MASSAGE to release tension in the jaw, face, and neck.
BREATHWORK so your nervous system can finally exhale.
Light bites will be provided by Deli Nerds
Meet your Guides
Julie Harlow
BASI Certified Pilates Instructor
Julie will be guiding our band exercises focused on shoulder mobility and neck support. Her teaching style emphasizes mindful, purposeful movement that helps you feel stronger, more connected to your body, and confident in how you move without pushing or forcing.
Lety Soto
Massage Therapist & Esthetician
Lety will be guiding you through a gua sha facial massage designed to soften jaw tension, relax the neck, and calm the mind. This is the same intentional touch used in her massages & facials to help release stored tension and support long-term skin and nervous system health.
Kourtney will lead our breathwork to help you settle your nervous system and create space for release. Her work is grounded in safety, self-awareness, and gentle healing allowing you to reconnect inward, let go of tension, and feel supported in your whole body.

Questions you might be wondering about
Do I need experience with Pilates, facial massage, or breathwork?
Not at all. Everything is guided step by step. This evening is designed to be accessible, supportive, and easy to follow, even if it’s completely new to you.
Is this going to be intense?
No. The pace is slow and thoughtful. The goal is to help your body soften and your nervous system settle, not to push or exhaust you.
I carry a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. Is this right for me?
Yes. The combination of gentle movement, guided Gua Sha facial massage, and breathwork was chosen specifically because it helps address common patterns of neck, jaw, and shoulder tightness.
What if I’m not flexible or in great shape?
You do not need to be. This is not about performance. You’ll be encouraged to move and participate in ways that feel comfortable for your body.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many people do. The environment will feel welcoming, calm, and supportive.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, and we love when you do. Sharing the experience can make it even more enjoyable, and it’s a beautiful way to support each other in slowing down and taking care of yourselves.
What should I bring?
Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. You’re welcome to bring water if you like. Everything else will be provided.
How many people will be there?
We’re intentionally keeping the group small so everyone feels supported, seen, and not lost in a crowd.
What will I feel like afterward?
Most people leave feeling lighter in their neck and shoulders, calmer mentally, and more grounded overall.
What if I sign up and feel nervous about coming?
That’s completely normal. Many people walk in feeling unsure and leave feeling grateful they came. We’ll guide you the entire time and make sure you feel comfortable.
We’re keeping this group small so everyone feels cared for.
If this sounds like what your body has been asking for, we would love to have you.
