Prenatal Massage as Ongoing Pregnancy Care
Your body changes throughout pregnancy, so your massage should change with it.
Some clients come in when a particular area starts bothering them. Others choose regular prenatal massage as part of their pregnancy wellness routine, especially as their body changes from trimester to trimester.
There's no one schedule that works for everyone. You might come monthly, every 4–6 weeks, or more often when you're experiencing more discomfort. Each session is adjusted to where you are in your pregnancy and what your body needs at that time.
Experienced Prenatal Massage Care
I've been providing prenatal massage for 15 years and was specifically trained by a doula and massage therapist who specializes in working with pregnant women.
Over the years, I've worked with mothers throughout their first pregnancy and beyond, as well as women who have experienced multiple pregnancies. I've also worked with both single and multiple births, adapting each session to the mother's changing body, stage of pregnancy, and individual comfort.
Pregnancy doesn't look or feel the same for everyone, and your massage shouldn't either. Your positioning, pressure, and areas of focus are adjusted throughout your pregnancy based on what your body needs at that time.
And the care doesn't have to end when your baby arrives. You can continue seeing me for postpartum massage to address the aches, muscle tension, and physical changes that come with caring for a newborn and recovering from pregnancy and birth.
